I then developed my skills in the cut throat world of rental and staging, specializing with high end video display and processing equipiment(not brown box goods). Using products and brands from foundation companies like Electrosonic, Magenta Research, Pioneer, ScanDo, Toshiba, Planar, Jupiter and Avitech. I transitioned out of the rental industry in the late 90's, moving into technology distribution, once again focusing on niche products and their applications. I've designed and deployed solutions for Transportation, Military, Corporate and Education customers. From art installations to secure control rooms for both the major telco's (Optus and Telstra), fitouts within semi-trailers and luxury launches, the largest fibre deployment in Australian History, to flat panel displays used in submarine simulators and multi-room school audio systems and Digital Signage.
My strengths include putting the customer first and the ability to think outside the box as well as to be able to express the complex in a simple concise manner.
Currently heading up Midwich's APAC support team, I'm a mentor to a terrific team as well as the go to guy for any support escalations.
